It all started with giving admiring looks to one of the first automobiles arriving at the seaport of Svendborg, Denmark in 1919. The locals saw a dazzling wonder, but the owner of the new Ford T 4-seater saw a future in automobiles. Christian Bukkehave obtained the Ford dealership in 1925 for Svendborg and surrounding areas. He, his son, and grandson developed a business that, at an early stage, had international relations. The first order for developing countries came by the end of the Second World War.
